Don't put the the guitar amp behind the guitarist. The sound hits the back of their legs and effects the way they hear it. They will hear their amp at a lower volume. Your legs are getting the sound, not your ears. |

Angle the amp with a mic box so the sound is getting to the guitarist's ears better. You can put the amp right in front of the guitarist (not the audience) because the amp is miked. |
