- Monitor the mental status by asking simple questions, date or presidents name - move casualty to a cool shady area/improvise - loosen casualties clothing (unless chemical) - drink 1 canteen cool water slowly - seek medical aid if cramps continue - monitor for signs of heat exhaustion |

Heatstroke is a medical emergency that may result in death if treatment is delayed. Start cooling measures immediately and continue while waiting for transportation |
