How many sorts of nouns are there?
Two: Substantive and Adjective.
What is a substantive noun ?
A substantive noun is a noun which cannot agree with another in meaning, but stands by itself in speech, as: mensa, a table; manus, a hand; rex, a king. It is said well: the table supports, the hand holds, the king governs.
What is an adjective noun?
An adjective noun is a noun which must agree with a substantive noun (either expressed or understood) to have meaning; or, a noun which cannot stand by itself in speech, as: wise, poor, great.
How many kinds of adjectives are there?
Three: for either they have Three Terminations in the Nominative case, as bonus, bona, bonum (good); or Two, as brevis & breve (short); or only One, as prudens (prudent) or felix (happy).
How many things happen to an adjective?
All that happen to a substantive and also Comparison, because to adjectives more or less may be added; as just, less just, more just; strong, less strong, stronger.
How are adjective nouns declined?
Adjectives are either of the First, Second, or Third Declensions. Those that are of the First and Second Declension make the masculine gender like dominus, the feminine like musa and the neuter like templum.

What happens to an Adjective that does not happen to a Substantive?
Comparison happens to an Adjective but does not happen to a Substantive.
What is a noun?
Noun is "a word that has cases and signifies a thing without time".
What is the Comparative degree?
When we use an adjective to compare two things, this is called the Comparative degree. (more, -er_
What is the Superlative degree?
When we use an adjective to expresses the extreme or highest degree of a quality, this is called the Superlative degree. (most, -est)
What is the Positive degree?
An adjective that is in its base form is in the positive degree.
What are the four steps in finding the correct adjective?
Remember the four steps:

1. Find the correct Latin adjective.

2. Determine the correct Gender.

3. Determine the correct Number.

4. Determine the correct Case.
