Power held by one central authority (no levels)
Unitary
Governemnt in which the president is constitutionally independent of the legislature
President
A group of states, nations or political divisions that retain most of the power, the central authority has very little power delegated to it
Confederation
Government where the real excutive power is in a cabinet composed of members of the legislature (solely responsible to the legislature). May have a Prime Minsiter elected by the legislature
Parlimentary
Power is divided between one central and several regional authorities (central has most power with certain power being delegated to regional authorities)
