What is a direct democracy? |
When all the people came to discuss government matters. It was created in Athens, Greece. |

Where the people choose a person or a small group of people to represent them in government. It is used in the United States. |

A government with a ruler from a heredity, but the people elect representatives for them in the government, and these representatives elect a ruler called a prime minister. |

A government where the people get a say in the government. |

What is an authoritarian regime? |
A government that is ruled by a single person or a small group of people, in which the ruler or rulers does not let the people have a say in the government. |

Where the government controls most of the people's life. The rulers control media, and use violence and scaring tactics to make people obey their law. |
