Indications

- autonomic dysreflexia with BP > 160mmHg

Contraindications |
- BP<100mmHg systolic - concurrent use of viagra or other erectile dysfunction within 24 hours - HR <50 or >150 - CVA - Head trauma - known severe adverse reaction |

Precautions |
- suspected inferior AMI - cerebral vascular disease - risk of hypotension/syncope - intoxication (effects are enhanced) - erectile dysfunction medication (in previous 4 days)

- dizziness - hypotension - syncope - reflex tachycardia - vascular headaches |

Dosage |
400mcg sublingual spray, repeat every 5 minutes. No max. dosage - AMI: repeat while BP remains > 100mmHg - CPO: BP > 100mmHg - Autonomic dysreflexia: until BP normalises |
