A way to describe the world with numbers.
Measurement
Helps you make a rough measurement of an object. A method of making an educated guess at a meanurement; using the size of something familiar to guess the size of a new object.
Estimation
Describes how closely measurements are to each other and how carefully measurements were made.
Precision
Compares measurement to the real, accurate, accepted or true value.
Accuracy
The international system of units, related by multiples of ten, designed to provide a worldwide standard of physical measurement.
SI
The SI (international unit of measurement) unit for length.
Meter
(m3) The amount of space an object occupies measured in cubic meters.
Volume
The amount of matter in an object, which is measured in kilograms.
Mass
The SI unit for mass.
