What are cisterna chyli?
|
A large swelling to the right of the aorta inferior to the aortic hiatus of the diaphragm; this is where the thoracic duct begins for lymphatic drainage.

Into the venous system in the neck at the junction of the left internal jugular vein and left subclavian vein.
