Explain how birth rate, death rate, natural increase and how the population pyramid of stages 1 - stage 5 look. |
Stage 1: Very high birth rate and very high death rate - low natural increase and very short but wide bottomed pyramid. Stage 2: V. high birth rate and high death rate - very high natural increase and more equilateral triangle (still short) shape. Stage 3: Falling birth rate and death rate, rising natural increase and curvy triangle. Stage 4: Low birth rate and low death rate, stable/low natural increase and long thin shape. Stage 5: v low birth rate, higher than b.r death rate and negative increase - upside down conical flask. |
