WHO IS GENIUS MONKEY?
Genius Monkey is a digital advertising technology firm with an advanced full service advertising platform designed for today's real-time programmatic advertising needs.
Who is Genius Monkey?

(Simplified Version)

Genius Monkey is a digital advertising technology firm with a full service advertising platform designed for real-time programmatic advertising.
How long has Genius Monkey been around?
Our parent company, Optimize LLC has been around since 2003. Genius Monkey as it is today has been around since 2008.
How many different touch points do consumers need to feel comfortable doing

business with a brand?

11-28
What is the challenge and opportunity for business owners that 3 out of 4 people will change their mind before

making a purchase?

Challenge: That even if a business owner has someone right in the middle of their sales funnel, there's a 3 out of 4 chance that they will jump ship and buy somewhere else.

Opportunity: If they're likely to jump, (we) Genius Monkey can easily steal them out of someone else's sales funnel. Our technology gives us the opportunity to do that

In reference to the 4 devices we service, how are we able to tie them together?
Yes, they're tied together with a profile ID, so if we gain information from one device, it's easily transferable to another device when we serve an ad later on.
What's exciting about us

serving ads on email accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Etc?

Not only are we serving our ads on these pages, but we also tap into the content with our algorithms that allow us to pull important behavioral information from them.
What are the main

components that we use to

really drive results?

Optimize Online Image Ads (OOIA) and Optimize Online TV (OOTV)
What is an Optimized Online

Image Ad (OOIA)?

OOIA is essentially a banner display ad that has been significantly sophisticated. Based on all the information we're pulling from our thousands of behavioral databases, OOIA ads are hitting the right people, with the right message, at the right time.
How would you explain how we differ from the competition in the way we buy for OOIA?
We buy on the trading floor, we don't have 4 people in-between us, so we're buying at a much lower cost. This allows us to be able to serve up these ads at a significant savings.
What is our average

Cost Per Click?

Between 49 and 79 cents.
How do we view banner ads? And what are we ultimately

after?

People are unlikely to to click directly on the banner because they are likely fearful of getting a pop-up or virus. What we are really after are the impressions. We know that the engagement will happen organically, so we're able to provide an obscene amount of extremely targeted impressions for a very low cost. Our CPM (Cost Per Thousand Views).

What is the key component of what we do?
Getting in front of the right people, with the right message, at the right time.

When it comes to Optimized Online TV (OOTV) how long do we recommend the ad to run?
30 seconds
When would the client actually be charged for an OOTV ad?
Only if they watch the entire 30 seconds. If they skip after 5, 10, 29 seconds, there is no charge for that rich media interaction that is OOTV.
How long have people started talking about "Programmatic"? And how long has

Genius Monkey been at it?

People have only recently been talking about programmatic. It's really only been from the last 6 months to a year. Genius Monkey has been solely focused on programmatic for 4 years, and started working in the space 6 years ago.
Google, Yahoo, Facebook, MSN, and AOL are obviously the big players in concern to share of impressions… But how much out of the total impressions available do they represent?
Less than half
Explain the process of how our Optimized Programmatical platform functions.
1. We pull out all those different channels that are available to deliver the impressions.

2. Combine that with the various levels of behavioral information that is available to us.

3. We pull from our thousands of behavioral partners both online and offline.

4. All that information is fed into our algorithms and our Optimized Programmatical Display System will spit out the information to our Cyber Monkey.

5. Which will say these ads are going to be shown to these people, on these networks, on all these devices, at these times.

How long does this process

typically take?

It all happens within milliseconds
What really puts our platform in a very elite category?
Because we don't stop there. There is still an opportunity for optimization. As the ads are pushed out, we then collect the data coming back from that in terms of performance and feed that through another algorithm we call Omni Monkey.
What does Omni Monkey do?
Omni Monkey is constantly making determinations on ad performance. So if an ad is doing very well on a particular network , to a certain subset of the target audience in terms of behavioral, we will reallocate our funds to maximize this out. And if we're seeing some promising results in a completely different area, we will put a little more resources into that area and see if thats working as well as we think. And it just continues to move those things around.
When does all this happen?
In REAL TIME
What's our key philosophy when it comes to Optimized Programmatical Display?
We refer to it as "Quants with Human Oversight". Our algorithms do things that we possibly couldn't do in terms of compressing and calculating data, but there is one thing they don't have, and that is the human element.
Why is the human element so important in our Optimized Programmatical Display process?
Because our Genius Monkeys, the account managers, are monitoring campaigns daily evaluating the decisions Omni Monkey is making. Saying out of the 1000 decisions you made 999 were perfect. But this one doesn't take into account the weather, politics, or whatever else. So when our account managers see those little details, they feed it back to Omni Monkey and teach it how to handle it better. And with every cycle we run, Omni Monkey just keeps getting smarter and smarter.
What's the first main thing we try and make sure our clients understand and remember about us?
1. We are a branding campaign. Especially when we are talking about OOIA and OOTV. They are both similar to a billboard or TV spot. We are trying to engage new customers. Because of the nature of our branding campaign, we are able to have an emphasis on traffic. Not just bare branding
What is the second thing we try and make sure our clients

understand and remember about us?

2. Our campaigns are focused on extremely targeted (optimized) impressions across multiple networks.
What is the third thing we try and make sure our clients

understand and remember about us?

3. Because our campaigns are so extremely targeted, it has a huge impact on consumers and we are able to create our own "in-market" customers by focusing on the entire sales funnel. We create our own economy by pulling people into our funnel.
What is the fourth thing we try and make sure our clients

understand and remember about us?

4. Evaluation. We of course have the secondary trackable indicators such as an increase in internet traffic, and making sure we are outperforming like traffic/media.
When it comes to campaign evaluation… What are we

really looking for?

The main indicators that are directly effecting our clients business. Total calls, total leads, total traffic, gross sales, and market share. Those are the impacts we need to have and we always see huge impacts there.
