Arctic Circle
A line of latitude near the North Pole (66 1/2 degrees North latitude).
Antarctic Circle
A line of latitude near the South pole (66 1/2 degrees South latitude).
National Parks
A park that belongs to all of the people of a country or nation.
Natural resources
Something useful to people and supplied by nature, such as, water, forests, and minerals.
State
A part of a country. There are 50 of these in the United States.
Capital
A city where plans for a state or nation are made

To be next to or to touch the edge of. The line between countries, states, and other places.
Monument
Something set up to keep a person or an event from being forgotten. (Ex. Building, statue, arch, column, tomb).
Climate
The kind of weather a place has throughout the whole year (Buffalo has warm summers and cold winters).
Chamber of Commerce
A group business people who help the community.
