What is the aim of the CTC safeworking system? |
By utilising track circuits and fixed signals to control train movements, this system automatically prevents two trains from being in the same track section (fixed signal to fixed signal) at the same time when running in the same direction of a single line (home departure to home departure) section. And from entering the same single line section when entering from opposite directions |
