who must obtain a cdl
1. Any combination vehicle with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26001 or more pounds. provided the gross vehicle weight rating GVWR of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10 thousand pounds.
2. Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26001 or more pounds,or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10 thousand pounds.

Value specified by the manufacturer as the GVWR of the power unit plus the GVWR of the towed unit, or units, or the combined registered weight of the power unit plus the towed units.
Who is exempt from obtaining a CDL
1. Farm to market operations by farmers (product, equipment or supplies) not commercial grain haulers. includes farmer, family member or employee. used within 150 miles of farm.

Class A

Class B

Class C

what causes front wheel skid
most are caused by driving too fast for conditions. other causes - lack of tread on front tires, cargo loaded so not enough weight on front axel.

the front end goes straight regardless of how much you turn the wheel.
how do you stop a front wheel skid
let the vehicle slow down. stop turning or braking so hard. slow down as quickly as possible without skidding.
what is a rear wheel or drive wheel skid
when the rear wheels lock. the locked wheels have less traction than rolling wheels. the rear wheels usually slide sideways in av attempt to catch up with front wheels. when towing a trailer, it can cause jack knife.
what should you do during a rear wheel skid
stop breaking, steer quickly, push in clutch, and countersteer.
