Try kids on 2 SSRIs
Once on stable SSRI drug, how long should it be continued?
6-9 months
How should SSRI's be withdrawn?
Slowly, but don't start withdrawal right before going back to school. Summer is a good time to withdrawal to see how they do off their drugs but recheck when school starts
What consists of a basic workup for somatization?
-CBC
-Sed rates (if the Sed rates are 0 or 2 there is NOT something nasty going on)
-Urines
-Biochem profile
-Occult stool for blood if the pt. has abdominal pain
