What is the major adverse effect of Acetaminophen and Aspirin?
Acetaminophen: Hepatic necrosis (at large doses) (!)
Aspirin overdose: respiratory alkalosis, metabolic acidosis
Aspiring chronic toxicity (3 grams/day): tinnitus, erosive gastritis, bleeding, analgesic nephropathy
