Static pressure is exerted by weight of a gas or fluid pressing down on a point. Eg// atmospheric pressure keeps gasses withing body, dissolved in body fluids. |

What is dynamic pressure? |
Dynamic pressure is extra force created by a moving gas or fluid. Eg// blood pressure presents force by blood being pumped throughout body. |

What is a gradient? What direction do substances flow across a gradient? |
A gradient is a difference in concentration between 2 areas. Substances tend to flow down a gradient. |

What organs does the nervous system involve? What is the function of the nervous system? |
Brain, Spinal cord, Nerves and sensory receptors. It provides and interprets information from the external and internal environments. It also induces muscle contraction, eg-blinking |

What organs does the endocrine system involve? What is the purpose of the endocrine system? |
Hypothalamus, Pituitary gland, thyroid and parathyroid, adrenal, pancreas and gonads. It produces hormones that regulate metabolism, h2o balance, reproduction and cell division. |

Skin, nails, hair and glands. Good for protection against environment, production of sweat and the synthesis of vitamin D. (Sunlight) |

Skeletal muscle and tendons assist with movement, heat generation, posture and breathing. Tendons connect the muscles to the bones. |
