This is a typical 1950s Rolls Royce. You can really tell that it's a car from the 50s because it is very rectangular in the sense it did not demonstrate great aerodynamics. Another thing you can see is that every Rolls Royce is always two colours. It is rare to see a one colour Rolls Royce unless it was done privately.

This is the Mercedes Benz of the 50s. It has the standard trademark of the logo on top of the hood. With the white around the wheels. Again you see how rectangular it is but, it definitely has more definition to it than the Rolls Royce.

In the 1950s and even till today you will sometimes see the Rolls Royce being used as a limousine for weddings because of its massive interior and the beauty of the car itself. People chose these over limousines because of the elegance feel the car had.

If you look at the next two photos of the 1950s Rolls Royce convertible and the 1950s Mercedes Benz convertible, you can see that they have many similarities and very few differences. The first similarity that you can see right away is the shape of the car and the white around the wheels.

You also see that they have the same time of windshield and how the headlights on both cars have two sets, one above each other and they are both round. Even the metal piece acting as the front bumper has similarities. The only big difference is the fact that the Rolls Royce is a two door and the Mercedes Benz has four doors.

Lastly the only Mercedes Benz from the 50s that could compare to one from today would be of the Mercedes sls because of the way its doors open up like wings and how long the hood is. Also these are sports cars and you can see that because they are not as box like, like the others, they are more aerodynamic.
