• Combat assault transport – mobility and logistic support to the MAGTF • Delivery operations – transports equipment and supplies to FOBs. • Refueling – allows MAGTF aircraft to conduct flight-ferrying operation, extended time on station, and extend mission range. • Battle Space Illumination – both fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. Used to provide light in the battle space area. • Air logistical support – using fixed-wing aircraft to provide assault support of MAGTF forces. • TRAP facilities – recovery of equipment and personnel while prevention additional loss. • Evacuation – provides transportation of equipment and personnel from FOBs to remote areas by using transport helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. |
