Limit surfaces touched
Change when torn or heavily contaminated
Perform hand hygiene

Picks up gown and unfolds

Facing the back opening of the gown places arms through each sleeve

Fastens the neck opening

Secures gown at waist making sure that back of clothing is covered by gown (as much as possible)

Puts on Mask (if needed):
Determine appropriate size
Place snugly over nose & mouth
Tie strings or use loops around ears
If metal strip squeeze to fit nose firmly
If wearing glasses, tuck mask under lower edge
