Then choose to type of slur or hairpin you want to add, double-click and drag to add the shape to the stave.

click on chord tool, click above the staff, type in the root and suffix of the chord, then press spacebar
When typing chord symbols, use "b" for flat and "#" for sharp.
When you click on a tool icon what happens on the menu bar?

How do you change text fonts?
click on the text tool, open Text menu, click Font
You can change fonts from the default by selecting the tool, then drilling down into the menu which magically appears on the menu bar
How do you create endings or repeats?
click on the repeat tool, select measures, drill down in Repeat menu, choose ending or repeat type
Include the first ending measures in your selection of the repeat. Then unselect your multiple measures. Select your 1st end and choose 1st & 2nd
How do you play from a measure location point in the score?
Hold down spacebar and click a measure to start playback
It will begin to scroll from that measure through to the end of the score.
How do you change playback tempo?
in the tempo text box on menu bar, enter the number of beats per minute
You can alter tempo within the score using tempo marks in the Playback Controls.
How do you turn off Human Playback feature?
MIDI menu, choose human playback, none
The default is standard, not none.
