Examples of Imagery-

1.See

2.Taste

3. Smell

4. Hear

5. Feel/Touch

( I assume that you all know the five senses, so I'll skip that and go to)

Examples:

1. I see a pink and golden sunset.

2. I taste salty, soft homemade frenchfries

3. The trash smells like a rotten egg that's been in the sun for five hot summer days mixed with somebody's vomit. (Not pleasant people!)

4. I hear the squeal of tires from a tow truck right before it crashes into a gas truck causing it to make a noisy sound as both trucks flip over.

5. I feel smooth, soft and silky hair.

Imagery is when you paint a picture with words.
