What is the difference between a personality trait and disorder?
Trait is more mild than disorder which I presume is more mild than disease.

personality trait is an enduring pattern of perceiving or relating to and thinking about the environment and oneself

personality disorder is inflexible, maladaptive and rigidly pervasive pattern of behavior causing subjective distress and impaired functioning. Generally the person is not aware of the problem.
What are personality disorders?
