Explain in terms of intermolecular bonds the difference in boiling points of propene and propanone |
Propene has weak intermolecular bonds and has id-id. Less energy will be required to overcome these bonds however propanone has stronger intermolecular bonds as it has pd-pd so more energy will be required to overcome these. |
