Prop- 1 Wasique Iqbal

Introduce myself ..Assalamalikumwarahmatahliallahiwabarakatahu, my name is Wasique Iqbal. and I am the first speaker from the proposition team, i would like to thank everyone for making this possible. Judge, audience, parents, and others teams.I, speaker one from the preposition team, will talk about what it means to free the internet and its impactMy second speaker will expand on my topic, talk about the importance of net neutrality, and explain why it is important to usMy third speaker will sum up all of our points and conclude the debate

the topic today is Free the internet. We will define freeing the internet as continuing to have network neutrality and allowing users unlimited access to all the different websites on the internet all under one fee rather than paying for each individual website.Net Neutrality is the principle that Internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source, and without favoring or blocking particular products or websites.

No Restrictions: Currently, there are no restrictions on what parts of the Internet that people can access, except for what local governments decide. For example, there are no restrictions or preferences over emailing, file sharing, instant messaging (IM), Voice over IP (VoIP), Video Conferencing, Podcasts, blogs, RSS feeds, USENET, etc. No Throttling: Currently, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) can not change the download or upload transfer rates depending on what people are accessing. No Censorship: There are no restrictions on what or how much anyone can upload or download besides connection rates. Capitalism: Net Neutrality promotes a level playing field for competing companies, and allows start-ups easier access to new potential customers. Net Neutrality is equated to a free market.

The Internet has become so much a part of the lives of most Americans that it is easy to imagine that it will always remain the free and open medium it is now. We'd like to believe it will remain a place where you can always access any lawful content you want, and where the folks delivering that content can't play favorites because they disagree with the message being delivered or want to charge more money for faster delivery.

Assertion 1- Keep Internet Speeds Equal

Reasoning 1- Net Neutrality is a good thing because it prevents big internet companies from controlling the speed at which different websites load.

Evidence 1- ISPs provide you internet access. You can use it as much as you want, for anything you want. All your data goes through a single connection and you’re chaged one monthly fee.ISPs want to manage internet access and charge you depending on your usage. That means AT&T or Comcast could block a service like Google Maps and charge for their own.Without Net Neutrality, they are able to speed up some sites, and slow others way down to the point where they become nearly unusable. This kind of control should not belong to even internet providers.

Net Neutrality has made the Internet an unrivaled space for free speech, civic participation, innovation, and opportunity. Net Neutrality prohibits online discrimination and gives any individual, organization ,or company the same chance to share their ideas and find an audience
