Deadly Force
Deadly force is a force that a person uses causing, or that a person knows or should know would create a substantial risk of causing, death or serious bodily harm.
Seriously Bodily Harm
Serious bodily harm doesn’t include minor injuries, such as black eyes or a bloody nose. It does include fractured or dislocated bones, deep cuts, serious damage to the internal organs and other life threaten injuries.
