What are factorial designs?
Experiments that include two or more independent variables (it is described by how many levels the IVs have 2X3 etc.)
What is a one-way experimental design?
A single independent variable is manipulated.
What are the four general types of factorial designs?
1. Randomized group
2. Matched
3. Repeated measures
4. Mixed (ANOVA and regression usually with participants variables)
What is main effects?
Each independent variables effect by itself.
What is interaction effect?
The effect of one IV is different under one level of another IV than it is under another level of that IV.
