Analogy by John Locke. It says that a man wakes up and is in a room and by his own choice instead of trying to leave, he goes back to sleep. What he didn't know is that the room was locked so any attempt to leave the room was pointless anyway but since he chose to not try and leave, it shows the illusion of free will |
