What are the whistle signals for the shot line, and when would we fire the shot line over?
|
One whistle-take cover and stand by for shot line, two whistles-ready to receive shot line, three whistles- firing shot line. We would fire shot line when we have the helo on the flight deck.

What are the procedures for Emergency Breakaway
|
1) Signal emergency: 5 short blast form the ship's whistle. 2) Clear the station of all non essential personnel from the station 3) Cease pumping 4) send back probe 5) detention span wire 6) disconnect span wire 7) all lines cleared from station.
