IV Prodceedure
Wash Hands. Greet, Identify, and explain to patient. Prep supplies (rip tape, open packaging) Find site (only antecubital or dorsum of hand). Turnicate. Alcohol. Chlorodine. Place traction distal to the needle. Go in at 45 deg. See blood flash. Bury needle in catheter. Retract needle and advance catheter. Secure catheter. Perform blood draw and IV set up. IV flush catheter. Make sure IV has been flushed..

ABG Proceedure
Eye Protection. Gloves. Provoidodine. Alcohol. Arterial Sampling Kit. 2x2 guaze. Bag of Ice.
Perform allens test for colateral. Prep with alcohol and provoidone. 45 deg angle. Let blood fill. Pull out. Put pressure with guaze for 5min. Lock Needle. Screw off sample. Sample on ice.
