If a duplicate check configuration record is not specified in the Context (HCZ) record for the First Access Lookup and Create pages, the system uses the duplicate check configuration record specified here to find duplicate patients when creating a new patient.

First Access Create:

134 – First Access Create Patient: Allows users to create new patient records using First Access.


First Access Search:

Users can search existing patient records but can access the record only if it is the only one that matches the information they entered in their search. If no records or more than one record matches the search criteria, no search results appear.


First Access Lookup:

135 – First Access Lookup Patient: Allows users to search and select existing patient records using First Access.
