Aphorism
A statement expressing a truth about life.
Allegory
A story wherein the character, actions, or settings represent abstract ideas.

A story with two meanings: one literal, and one symbolic

The repitition of consonant sounds at the beginning of words.

A refrence to a person, place, or thing outside of the work in which it appears.
Anology
A special form of comparison that is used for a specific purpose: to explain something diffucult to understand by showing its simililarity to something easy to understand.

A person who opposes the protagonist.
Anti-Climax
A change of from the serious of notible events in a story, to more trivial ones.
