Zeus (Jupiter)
Zeus was the one who overthrew his father, Cronus. He was hidden by his mother, Rhea, so that his father would not eat him, as his father ate all his children to prevent losing power. He also wields the thunderbolt, crafted by the Cyclops. He is in constant quarrel with Hera, his wife, due to his lack of loyalty.
Cronus
Cronus was the father of Zeus and the leader of the Titans before he was overthrown by Zeus. He overthrew his father, Uranus. He had heard that one of his children would overthrow him, so he ate all of his children to prevent their powers from developing and overthrowing him. He was married to Rhea, the one who took Zeus and fed Cronus a stone in baby clothes. His other children include Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Demeter, and Hestia.
Poseidon (Neptune)
Poseidon is Zeus' and Hades' brother and rules over the sea. He is the son of Cronus and is married to Amphitrite, granddaughter of Ocean. He gave the first horse to man. He is always show carrying his trident. He is more often found in Olympus than his palace under the sea.
Hades (Pluto)
Hades is Zeus' and Poseidon's brother and rules over the underworld. He is the son of Cronus and is married to
Hera (Juno)
Hera is the wife and sister of Zeus. She is the Goddess of the Heavens, women, marriage, and motherhood. She is always bringing unfair judgment to women whom she believes Zeus is having an affair with. She struck Teiresias blind. She was the one who tricked Semele into asking to see Zeus' true form, after having been promised by Zeus that he would give her anything she wanted. The sight of a God killed Semele, and Zeus took Semele's baby, which became Dionysus. Her symbol is the pomegranate.
