Pass the mirror and explorer to the dentist and then pass a 2x2 gauze to dry the muccobuccal fold and the topical anesthetic. Pass the anesthetic syringe.. Use 3way and HVE

Place rubber dam.. Inform patient on the dam and see if any there are any questions or concerns

Dentist creates and opening... Stay out of the dentist line of vision

Pass the irrigating syringe with irrigating solution to the dentist.. Keep the HVE close to the tooth so the irrigating solution is effciently aspirated and not allowed to splash the patient or the dental team

Pass paper points with locking cotton pliers and continues to pass paper points until the canal are completely dry

Pass a small cotton pellet containing medication to the dentist who places it in the tooth..

Gutta percha point is selected that matches the width size of the last file used in each canal. Assistant exposes a radiograph to verify the proper lenght and seal

Mix the endodontic sealer to a creamy consistency and passes it to the dentist, so he can coat the tip of the master gutta percha point.

Pass the endodontic spreader and additional accessory gutta percha points and continues to pass the spreader and an additional point until each is full

Pass the endodontic condenser and prepares the torch. Holds 2x2 gauze squares and holds the HVE tip close to the tooth

Ensure that the HVE tip aspirates any smoke and receives the melted gutta percha from the dentist with a 2x2 gauze

Prepares the temporary filling material and passes the Woodson... Dentist places the filling, pass a lightly dampened cotton applicator to the dentist, who uses it to smooth the temporary restoration.

Uses the HVE and 3way to ensure that the rubber damn is rinsed free of debris.. Dam is removed and the dental assistant freshens the patients mouth by rinsing and aspirating

Dries the tooth and passes the articulating paper to the dentist who will ask the patient to lightly tap the teeth together.
