Prep -maintain airway, assist vents -O2 -Monitor EKG (id rhy), BP, SpO2 -IV S&S of poor perfusion? (AMS, cx pn, hypotension or shocky) Adequate = observe/monitor Poor Perfusion -prepare for pacing, 2nd type II, or 3rd block -Atropine 0.5 mg IV, repeat p.r.n. to a total dose of 3mg if ineffective = PACE Consider Dopamine 2-10mcg/kg/min or eppie 2-10 mcg/min while awaiting pacer or if ineffective |
