What can cause this rash?
Name the milder form and the more severe form.
It is Stevens-Johnson. Causative mneumonic is SOAP HiM (Sulfonamides, Oral hypoglycemics, Anti-epileptics, PCN, Herpes, Malignancy or Mycoplasma.

Milder form (that starts on skin, not mouth) is E. multiforme. More severe form (that affects greater body surface area) is TEN
Where might the skin lesions start?
How much of skin is usually involved?
TEN (autoimmune d/o w/ reaction against the proteins that hold epidermis to dermis). See Nikolsky's sign.

Skin lesions follow eye and mouth lesions. Generally start on face, hands or genitals. Usually >30% of skin involved
Where does this rash usually start?
SSSS - Generally in the skin creases, similar to Scarlett Fever (Pastias lines.) It then progresses to cover the rest of the body. Unlike TEN and SJS, it spares the mucosa.
