Define embryonic development:
From the beginning of the 3rd week after fertilization to the end of the seventh week.

Milestones of embryonic development:
Fourth week-partitioning of hear begins: arm and leg buds form; amnion begins to unsheathe the body stalk that becomes the umbilical cord.
Sixth week-head is much larger than body; hear is completely formed; fingers and toes present.

20 weeks -  weighs 300g; weight now begins to increase in a linear manner.
