What happens in the 15 day?
Prechordal plate, primitive streak
What is the function of prechordal plate?
Organizer of the head
What happens at the primitive streak?
new cell appear, Endoderm, Mesoderm , ectoderm, which arise from epiblast
What happens in primitive node during 16-17 days?
Cells migrate cranially until they reach the prechordal plate
What is the notochordal process during 18 days?
Cellular tube that extends cranially from primitive node to prechordal plate
What is the allantois?
18th day diverticulum from the wall of yolk sac extending into the connecting stalk
Where does primitive streak lie?
On the surface of epiblast in the dorsal part of embryonic disc
What is going on in primitive streak?
differentiation of embryonic mesoderm and endoderm
What is the notochord?
It defines the primitive axis(spinal cord) of the embryo
Always the blastocyst attaches the endometrium by the?
embryonic pole.
Blastocyst secretes substances which influence endometrium e.g?
growth factors, cytokines, prostaglandins.
What does progesterone do ?
Prepares the endometrium for implantation, uterine glands growth
What does trophoblast differentiate into after adhesion?
Synctiotrophoblast, cytotrophoblast
What does embryoblast(bilaminar embryonic disc) differentiate into and when?
Epiblast,hypoblast, after 8 days
Where does lacuna come from?
Trophoblast
What hormone does trophoblast produce?
Human Chorionic gunadotropin-HCG
What happens in the ninth day?
Amnion, lacunas in trophoblast, primary yolk sac
What happens in day 13-14day
Secondary yolk sac is produced,Chorion,Endometrium undergo decidual reaction (changes in endometrium)
When does anterior and posterior neural pore close?
around 26 days
What does NCC (neural crest cells) differentiate into?
Mesenchymal cells
What does mesenchymal cells build?
bones and cartilage in head, Spinal ganglia, several regions of the heart and great vessels
What does neuronal system consist of?
Ganglia of cranial nerves 5,7,9,10, ganglia of the autonomic nervous system, lemmocytes (neurolemma sheaths)
There parts after Neural differentiation?
Neural plate, neural groove and neural crest cells
What does myotome develop into?
Skeletal musculator
What does dermatome develop into?
Dermis
Sum upp what paraxial mesoderm eventually differentiate into?
1 Skeletal muscles,
2 axial skeleton,
3 mesenchymal tissue(CT,fatty tissue, reticular tissue), 4 dermis
Sum upp what lateral mesoderm eventually differentiate into?
1 Smooth muscle and CT of digestive tract,
2 serous membrane,
3 heart muscle
4 blood and lymph vessels
5 bone marrow 6spleen
7 adrenal cortex
