Sequence 1
Rules of the World. We see the protagonist in his normal everyday life. End of sequence 1 or beginning of sequence 2 is when problem is introduced.
Sequence 2
New Opportunity/ Call to Adventure. This is often where the inciting incident occurs . The protagonist responds by choosing to respond to the call or not. Write a comment...Either decision land her into s progerressively worse predicament
Sequence 3
Rules of the new world. Protagonist is thrown into a new world where she must plan and execute a strategy to get what she wants. This plan (Plan #1) fails and causes the protagonist to figure out another way to get to her goal
Sequence 4
Flip the Script Moment. The protagonist chooses the next major goal that will move him closer to his goal. After another failure , in some fourth sequences, the protagonist earns a victory that gives him a glimpse of what the story's resolution looks like. This is called a Top of the Mountain Moment. After the top of the mountain moment, the fortunes turn from good to bad, or from bad to worse. This is called a midpoint reversal or a Flip the Script moment.
Sequence 5
Character's Worst nightmare. The character responds to the flip the script moment. At this point, the protagonist is in the harshest predicament she has faced since the beginning of the story. It's a nightmare scenario where she risks losing her way and must find a way back on track.
Sequence 6
All is lost. The protag may experience a victory, but that is quickly reversed into failure. IN many cases the 6th sequence represents the lowest point in the story for the protagonist. This is the moment when the protag doesn't know if they'll complete their goal or not.
Sequence 7
Final Battle/ Do or Die moment. The protag faces the most intense forces of antagonism he's faced all story.
Sequence 8
Return to ordinary world, Return with elixer. Resolution. We witness the the aftermath of the climax. We see the protagonist commit to one final action that let's us know that the world has returned to normal
