ii. A deficiency exisits in mission essential equipment which causes a minor degrade in any primary mission, or a major degrade or total loss of a secondary mission.
iii. A deficiency exists in mission essential equipment which causes a major degredation but not loss of a primary mission.
iv. A deficiency exists in mission essential equipment that is worse than category 3, and causes a loss of at least one primary mission.

National Stock Number a 13 digit # assigned by the DLA to ID an item of material in the supply distrobution system.
Define COG.
Cognizance a 2 character symbol that designates the stores account in which type of material is carried and the responsible inventory control point.
Define APL.
Allowance Part List a technical document prepared for individual equipment component whichare onboard. it lists all the repair parts installed on the equipment/componentwhich it applies.
