Normal Sinus Rhythm
Regular, 60-100 bpm, full cardiac cycle each time.
Sinus Bradycardia
Same as NSR, rate <60 bpm`
Sinus Tachycardia
Same as NSR, rate >100.
Atrial Fibrillation
Must be IRREGULAR, rate may vary, narrow QRS comples, P waves undetermineable due to fibrillating base line.
Atrial Flutter
Like A-Fib, but regular with "Flutter Waves" between QRS complex (Saw Tooth)
Sinus Arrhythmia
Like NSR, but slows and speeds up with respiration's.
Premature Atrial Contractions (PAC'S)
Full premature complex, including P-Wave.
Premature Junctional Contractions (PVC'S)
Premature complexes, P wave usually not present but may be present and inverted.
Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT)
Rapid, regular rhythm, usually >160 bpm, IF start and or finish of SVT it witnessed it is called Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia (PSVT)
First Degree AV Block
Regular pattern with regularly long PR intervals.
Second Degree AV Block (Type 2)
Within Regular pattern, P wave occurs without proceeding QRS complex.
Third Degree AV Block
No Association between P waves and widened QRS complex.
Second Degree AV block (Type 1)
PR interval gets longer and longer until a QRS complex is dropped.
Ventricular Tachycardia (VT)
Wide, Rapid QRS complexes of equal amplitude, usually >120 bpm. P and T waves not present.
Torsades de Pointes
Like VT but amplitude varies in regular pattern.
Ventricular Fibriliation (V Fib)
Erratic baseline with no visible discernable pattern, pulseless.
