Stationary Front

A front that does not m over over the ground because colliding air masses stop moving.

Cold Front

occurs when a cold front overtakes a warm front. Cold Fronts move more quickly because the cool air is more effective at pushing out warm air.

Occluded Front

occurs when an air mass rises above other air masses and looses contact with the ground.
