Character
A character is a person or an animal in a story.

Character Traits
Character traits are how we describe characters, or what we would tell a friend about a character. There are physical and personality traits.
Physical Traits
Physical traits tell us what a character LOOKS like. If we were to draw a picture of them, what would we draw? For example, what color is their hair? What are they wearing? How tall are they?
Personality traits
Personality traits tell us what a character DOES, THINKS and FEELS. If we told a friend about a character we would say what they DO, what they THINK and what they FEEL.
Prediction
A prediction is a guess about what will happen next in a story. To make a prediction we ask ourselves WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE STORY + WHAT WE ALREADY KNOW.
Problem
The problem in the story is what is stopping a character from getting what they want.
Solution
The solution is what fixes the problem in the story.
