Too much drinking leads to brain damage.


Scar tissues are formed on your liver which blocks blood flow through liver. Basically this is cirrhosis.

What are depressants?

Decrease activity of the brain, slows down the responses of the nervous system causing slow reactions.

Example is ALCOHOL!!

What are stimulants?

They increase activity of the brain by increasing the amount of neurotransmitter at neurone synapses. This increases the speed of reactions which makes you feel alert. Stimulants can be used to treat depression.

Example is CAFFEINE and NICOTINE
