AUGMENTIN (amoxicillin/clavulanate potassium) Tablets
AUGMENTIN is an oral antibacterial combination consisting of the semisynthetic antibiotic amoxicillin and the ß-lactamase inhibitor, clavulanate potassium (the potassium salt of clavulanic acid). Amoxicillin is an analog of ampicillin, derived from the basic penicillin nucleus, 6-aminopenicillanic acid. The amoxicillin molecular formula is C16H19N3O5S•3H2O, and the molecular weight is 419.46.
CLAVULANIC acid is produced by the fermentation of Streptomyces clavuligerus. It is a ß-lactam structurally related to the penicillins and possesses the ability to inactivate a wide variety of ß-lactamases by blocking the active sites of these enzymes.
The molecular weight is 237.25. Chemically, clavulanate potassium is potassium
Lorazepam
An antianxiety agent.
TABLETS: It is a nearly white powder almost insoluble in water.
INJECTION: A benzodiazepine with antianxiety and sedative effects, is intended for intramuscular or intravenous route of administration.
Alprazolam
Xanax tablets contain alprazolam.
Alprazolam is a white crystalline powder, which is soluble in methanol or ethanol but which has no appreciable solubility in water at physiological pH.
PAXIL®
(paroxetine hydrochloride)
Tablets and Oral Suspension
PAXIL (paroxetine hydrochloride) is an orally administered psychotropic drug.
OxyContin® is an opioid agonist and a Schedule II controlled substance with an abuse liability similar to morphine.
OxyContin® (oxycodone hydrochloride controlled-release) tablets are an opioid analgesic supplied in 10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg, 80 mg, and 160 mg tablet strengths for oral administration. The tablet strengths describe the amount of oxycodone per tablet as the hydrochloride salt.
Oxycodone is a white, odorless crystalline powder derived from the opium alkaloid, thebaine. Oxycodone hydrochloride dissolves in water (1 g in 6 to 7 mL). It is slightly soluble in alcohol (octanol water partition coefficient 0.7).
CONCERTA® (methylphenidate HCl)
Extended-release Tablets CII
CONCERTA® is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant. CONCERTA® is available in four tablet strengths. Each extended-release tablet for once-a-day oral administration contains 18, 27, 36, or 54 mg of methylphenidate HCl USP and is designed to have a 12-hour duration of effect.
CONCERTA® uses osmotic pressure to deliver methylphenidate HCl at a controlled rate.
Clindamycin
Clindamycin hydrochloride is the hydrated hydrochloride salt of clindamycin. Clindamycin is a semisynthetic antibiotic.
SEPTRA® Tablets
SEPTRA® DS (Double Strength) Tablets
SEPTRA® Suspension
SEPTRA® Grape Suspension
(trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole)
SEPTRA (trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole) is a synthetic antibacterial combination product.
Seroquel®
(quetiapine fumarate)
SEROQUEL (quetiapine fumarate) is a psychotropic agent.
SEROQUEL is supplied for oral administration.
Darvon Compound-65 Capsules
Propoxyphene napsylate, USP is an odorless, white, crystalline powder with a bitter taste.
It is very slightly soluble in water and soluble in methanol, ethanol, chloroform, and acetone.
