Psuedoephedrine - common indications
1. Temporary relief of nasal congestion due to: common cold, upper respiratory allergies, sinusitis (inflammation of sinus due to virus or fungal infection)

2. Promotes sinus drainage
Psuedoephedrine - contraindications
1. Hypersensitivity to pseudoephedrine

2. Within 14 days of MAO inhibitor therapy

Warnings: Caution with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and urinary obstruction

2. Relief of eye redness

1. Nasal congestion: 0.05% solution, instill 2-3 sprays into each nostril BID

Do not exceed 3 days

2. Eye redness: 0.025% solution, instill 1-2 gtts in affected eye(s) Q 6hr PRN or as directed
