Naproxen - usual dosing

1. Migraine: PO 500-750mg initially, additional 250-500mg PRN
Max 1250mg in 24 hrs 2. Pain, menstrual cramp: PO 500-750mg STAT, then 250mg q 6-8hr Max 1250mg in 24 hrs 3. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis: PO 500-1000mg qday in 2 divided doses 4. OTC pain/fever relief: PO 200mg q 8-12hr, PRN 400mg STAT OK, MAX 600mg in 24 hrs |

1. Hypersensitivity to naproxen, aspirin, ibuprofen or other NSAIDs
2. Do not use on patients with bronchospasm, asthma, hives, or stuffy nose |
