TOPROL-XL
(LOPRESSOR/Metaprolol) -Use: mild to moderate hypertension; post tx acute MI to prevent sudden death; ventricular arrhythmias; atrial fibrillation; migraine prophylaxis -Dental Concerns: monitor; supine; salivary flow; xerostomia; stress; short appt. -Local Anesthetic/Vasoconstrictor Precaution: use vasoconstrictors w/caution; avoid retraction cord soaked in epinephrine. |
