Anaphylaxis Steps

1. Assess

3. Position- to restore airway breathing (feet up, patient flat)


4. Remove source of anaphylaxis


5. Adults and children - administer 100 percent oxygen

1. Assess


2. 100 percent O


3. GTN: spray- 2 puffs 400microgram per metered dose

Repeat after 3 mins


Call ambulance


Aspirin - 300mg oral

Remove harm/ make sure patient won’t injure themselves / DO NOT RESTRAIN

> 5 mins : continue oxygen and then 10mg Midazolam (2ml oromucosal solution- Buccal cavity)

Tonic; Rigid, Cyanosis


Clonic: Jerking movements of the limbs, tongue might get bitten


Symptoms : Frothing, urinary incontinence

Assess
