What is a Cubic Centimeter?

The cubic centimeter is a measure of volume and is used to find as a liquid measurement. The cubic centimeter is abbreviated as CC. The use of CC is the same is the milliliter (mL) Use mL instead.

The gram is a solid measure of weight. One gram is approxiamately equal to the weight of two paper clips. The gram is abbreviated as gm or Gm.

The kilogram is a weight measure. 1 kilogram is equal to 2.2pounds.

The liter is a liquid measure. The 1 liter is a little more than a quart.

The microgram is a measure of weight. 1000 micrograms=1milligram.

The mililiter is a liquid measurement of weight. The term of cubic centimeter (cc) and mililter (mL) are used interchangeably.

The unit is a mesaure of biologic activity. Ex: 300,000 units of penicillin potassium. Remember not to abbreviate units for U, use UNITS instead.
