The size of the opening for the brickwork if you have a pressed steel door frame is actually smaller than the opening you would have a timber door frame |

1) the door frame starts from the UFL 2) the door frame is put in position on-top of a line of DPC) 3)mark off brick courses by transferring course heights using a gauge rod to the door frame starting at the top 4) repeat on other side( you will see lugs on a pressed steel door frame) 5) It must be propped and plum(vertical and level 6) ensure top of door and windows are on same level 7)you would then install your centre to avoid the frame from bulging 8) lugs are ready to be build in, use a wire tie to secure your line to the door frame during door frame building :) |
